Introduction Of High Court Allahabad
High Court Allahabad – Allahabad High Court is based in Prayganj. Moreover, the High Court Allahabad is a court of the state of India. It was established on 17 March 1866 by the Indian High Courts Act, 1861, as the High Court of Judicature of the North Western Provinces at Agra, replacing the then Sadar Diwani Adalat. Sir Walter Morgan, barrister, and Mr. Simpson were selected the first Chief Justice and the first Registrar of the North Western Provinces High Court, respectively.
The location of the High Court of the North Western Provinces was shifted from Agra to Allahabad in 1875 and accordingly renamed the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad on 11 March 1919.
